In July 2005, the SEMMMS partner Authorities submitted revised modelling information to the Department for Transport, along with an Expression of Interest in using a Private Finance Initiative. In October 2005, DfT officers said that they had all the information they needed for Ministers to make a decision, but that it would take several months before that decision would be made, we therefore expect to have a decision sometime in the New Year, and will update this website when the decision is announced.
